D L T Engineering
We develop, manufacture and operate the specialist technology for modular construction of bridges, dams, refineries, power stations, offshore structures, buildings and manufacturing plants. We also offer construction engineering and site services to help our clients get the best value from the equipment we supply. Our role on most projects is to develop solutions to construction problems, fully engineer these solutions and then to work with our customers to carry out the operations on site.

We are happy to offer any combination of erection engineering, equipment supply / rental and site supervision services to suit the needs of each project. Our product range includes bridge construction equipment, offshore construction equipment, jacking tower systems, strand jacks, hydraulic gantries, skidding systems and synchronised jacking and weighing systems.

All our projects are covered by our company management systems, which are accredited to ISO 9001: 2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001: 2015.
Services
DLT were sub-contractors to Guangdong Provincial Changda Highway Engineering Co. for the design and equipment supply of three deck erection gantries and a saddle erection gantry for the installation of main cable saddles at the top of both towers and the splay pillars for the Humen II Suspension Bridge in China.
The Humen II Bridge is an asymmetrical suspension bridge with a main span of 1688m and a suspended side span of 658m.
The reinforced concrete towers are 257m tall and the main cable spacing is 42.1m.
DLT Engineering designed and supplied an innovative 2 x 870 tonne capacity bridge deck erection gantry for the Temburong Bridge Project in Brunei, to main contractor Daelim-Swee.
The gantry was used to simultaneously erect two 50m long 870 tonne precast concrete bridge deck girders, and it is believed to be the first ever bridge erection gantry of this type.
It was used to erect all bridge deck girders on a 13.65 km long marine viaduct across the Brunei Bay that links the regions of Brunei Muara and Temburong.
We have been designing, supplying and operating bridge deck erection gantries (also known as a launching gantry or launching grider) since 1995.
Our bridge deck erection gantries have been used to erect the decks of suspension bridges, cable stay bridges and land/sea viaducts in both steel and concrete.
We offer a complete design and supply service, with site supervision to assist and train our client's site team to assemble, commission, operate and maintain the gantries.
We are also happy to pass the steel fabrication drawings to our clients so they may fabricate the steelwork themselves local to the project site to save costs.
DLT self propelled transporters are custom designed for the specific requirements of each project, with careful consideration given to the support requirements of the load and the effect of the transporter tyre loads onto the supporting surface below.
A typical application is to transport heavy precast concrete bridge deck beams from a casting yard to the final erection location, travelling over a mix of compacted ground, ramps and the previously erected bridge deck.
We are able to design and supply self propelled transporters to move any type of heavy load, with pay load capacities per 4-tyre axle line ranging from 20 tonnes up to 130 tonnes.
DLT straddle carriers are intended for use on construction sites and assembly yards for the movement of heavy precast or prefabricated items such as bridge deck beams or precast bridge foundations and piers.
DLT straddle carriers comprise a portal crane mounted on multiple axle lines of pneumatic tyres and combine the benefits of an overhead goliath crane with the manoeuvrability of a multi-axle steerable transporter.
A single straddle carrier is able to do the work of multiple rail based cranes and skidding/transport systems due the high manoeuvrability, and therefore offer a very economic solution.
