It relocated in 2013 to a 1100 square metre purpose built factory which together with its state of the art machine platform represented a 5 Million Pounds investment.

Under the Direction of Jim Chappell, who personally has more than 50 years experience in the petro-chemical engineering sector, the Chappell Engineering team maintains direct daily contact with its customers from its dedicated customer management centre ensuring all aspects of the customer relationship are managed in a stress free manner where continuity of communication is key.

Dimensional inspection is undertaken using latest generation of Coordinate Measuring Machines in a dedicated inspection facility by trained / qualified technicians.
All inspection and test equipment is subject to a calibration regime including external certification of equipment, gauges and test blocks in accordance with ISO.9001 guidelines.
Chappell Engineering maintains its own NDE facilities including Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetration.
NDE is undertaken in accordance with customer specified requirements by certified NDE Level 3 technicians utilising fully traceable NDE equipment.
All inspection and test equipment is subject to a calibration regime including external certification of equipment, gauges and test blocks in accordance with ISO.9001 guidelines.
