Breathing Air Testing is a requirement that complies with BSEN 12021:1999 / BSEN 529:2005 Air Purity Standards.
All compressed breathing air line systems must be tested under the current COSHH Regulations.
COSHH Regulation 9, ACOP 9, Section 178 states that the quality of compressed air supplied to breathing apparatus should be tested every 3 months.
Shephard Engineering Services can carry out on site testing, using our calibrated air purity analyser.
Should an air test fail for any reason our factory trained engineers are on hand to offer any on site advise.
