The Hodgson family name is historically linked with local engineering services as far back as 1918, the year that John Fendley Hodgson established his blacksmiths business in Terrington St Clement, King's Lynn.
Shaun Hodgson, John's great Grandson continued the family tradition by establishing his own Company in 2002 having previously worked in the family business for some 20 years.
Shaun's son also works for the business representing the 5th generation of the Hodgson family involved in metal fabrication.

By utilising modern CAD technology, we can produce your designs in 3D so you can see exactly how your project will look and can even offer a 'walk through' experience.
We're able to offer a comprehensive architectural steelwork service thanks to our CAD, CNC equipment and years of experience.
We offer a comprehensive fabrication service from our 10,000m2 site.
With a 2,200m2 covered workshop and overhead cranes, we manufacture, supply and install fabricated pieces.
With our state of the art facility and specialist equipment, we can carry out heavy fabrication work up to a single item weight of 25 tonnes.

Shaun Hodgson Engineering continue to invest in new plant and fabrication equipment to ensure that our work is carried out to the highest levels of productivity, efficiency, and accuracy possible.
In addition to our Kaltenbach CNC cutting, drilling and parts lines, we've a high definition plasma cutter mounted on a 12m x 2.5m bed.
The unit also has an oxy-fuel head giving us a significant in-house profiling capability.
7 overhead travelling cranes with lifting capacities from 2 to 25 tonnes complement our modern well-equipped facilities.

Our engineering projects range from small works installations to major projects with values up to 1 million.
We will tender for your works offering a 'turnkey' approach to our element of the project.
All design, manufacturing, and installation services are completed in-house allowing us to maintain the highest level of control over the life of the project.

From these facilities we are able to manufacture general fabrications without impacting on our CNC automated production plant and painting facilities.
With ample crane capacity (up to 20 tonnes) we can easily handle significant fabricated parts.
