We are a company of motor and precision engineers. The Company was founded by Thomas Hamlin in 1896, right at the beginning of the motor age. Thomas's great grandson, Mark Hamlin, and his wife Francine, run the Company today. Hamlin's offers a comprehensive engine reconditioning service including: Pressure testing and refacing of cylinder heads and blocks, Valve and valve seat refacing. Unleaded valve seat inserts, Cylinder head rebuilding and more. We are a proud to offer our range of precision engineering services to the motor trade. We are able to complete many types of machining work.
We have experience with white metal bearings and conversion, where practical, to modern shell bearings. We have taken on work converting white metal bearings to modern shell bearings; of course, this is done when practical and beneficial for the project.
