Rexon Day Ltd is a well established Engineering Consultancy based in Bath and comprises of Rexon Day Consulting and Rexon Day Forensic. Rexon Day Consulting - a niche practice of consulting structural engineers specialising in schools, community facilities, commercial and industrial premises. Rexon Day Forensic - specialising in the investigation of construction failures and defects, the implementation of remedial works schemes and provision of expert evidence for dispute resolution.

The preparation of engineering design for a reasonable fee which is clear and results in straightforward construction and at a reasonable build cost. The investigation and reporting of problems in construction in a concise, analytical and clear manner so that the client can readily be supported on technical issues whilst pursuing the resolution of such problems.

The dissemination of the experience between the Rexon Day Companies to provide an enhanced service to our clients which would otherwise not be possible.

Rexon Day Consulting was established in 1986.
It is a small busy practice that is providing a friendly and efficient service to a variety of local authorities, private and corporate clients.
The Consultancy has been appointed for the structural design for more than 175 schools ranging from extensions to complete new build since 2002.
In addition, the firm has been appointed for a wide range of design input in connection with Listed and Heritage Buildings, particulary in the Bath area including those associated with the Pump Rooms/Roman Baths, Royal Crescent, St James Portico and The Old Cornmarket.
Rexon Day Forensic has 30 years continuous experience of investigating failures, defects and collapses of buildings and construction, and the preparation and supervision of remedial works.
It is headed up by Colin Richardson BEng, CEng, FICE, MCIWEM, MASCE, MCIArb, MEWI who has acted as expert in court proceedings, arbitrations and mediations.
He has also acted as a Joint Expert in accordance with CPR 35.7.
Clients include, solicitors, insurers, including Lloyds Syndicates, Loss Adjusters, Commercial Organisations, Local Authorities, the NHBC and private clients.
