In these energy conscious times we have a level of responsibility to provide our customers with buildings that deliver excellent levels of thermal performance, air permeability and energy efficiency.
Our buildings can be specified to comply with the minimum requirements of Part L building regulations, or they can be specified to deliver much higher levels of Point1 practical and Passivhaus performance. As our company name Point1 suggests, we believe that one day soon all homes will be built with wall and roof fabrics detailed to achieve 0.10W/m. K. Whilst the volume market does not require this, many of our clients do and we are already delivering buildings with this level of fabric thermal efficiency today.

Point1 Building Systems opened for business as a Kingspan TEK Delivery Partner in 2013.
Initially based in Burton-on-Trent, the company relocated to Shrewsbury and in 2018 moved in to their own premises in Knights Park, on the Battlefield Enterprise Park in Shrewsbury.
To date, the company has supplied and installed 200+ projects comprising new homes - including several Passivhaus developments, commercial and educational projects across the UK.
In addition to in-house contract and project managers, Point1's team also includes experienced construction professionals and tradesmen who work closely with the company on a sub-contract basis.

The Kingspan TEK Building System is used to create high performance structural, super-insulated thermal building enclosures.
The system comprises 142mm or 172mm thick SIPs.
Panel junctions can be detailed with a unique insulated SIPs spline jointing system to ensure minimal interruptions in the insulation layer.
Applications include; external walls, roofs, structural/non-structural infill.
SIPS can also be used to wrap over other structural framing systems - steel, concrete, oak etc.
TEK and timber frame components can be combined with the following materials to create hybrid/bespoke buildings to suit your budget and specification requirements.
