SRD was set up by three CNC machinists working next to each other at a large factory in Buckinghamshire, the new to be partners saw an opportunity to become one of the best machine shops in the area using their expertise to rival the competition.

High quality turned parts are produced using a range of Doosan lathes from a 2 axis machine through to a Twin spindle Y axis.
Bar feeds allow us to take on the large batch sizes.

Purchasing our first sliding head automatic lathe in 2009 as a result of a customer enquiry, SRD are extremely competitive on high volume sliding head machining / turning batch work.
In 2018, we added to our capacity three additional machines which represent the very latest in technological advances.
Up to 32mm our sliding head machines are capable of intricate mill-turn applications reducing cycle times due to the complex but extremely effective layout and tooling options.
Also producing the simplest of machined parts by the thousand, these machines are extremely versatile.

Our computerized stores can hold stock on customer allocated racking and supply components to meet customers demands and perfectly timed schedules.
